Scholarships and Privileges

 

Honor/Academic Scholarships

Full Tuition Scholarships

  • These are granted to incoming freshmen who graduated as Valedictorian and can be continued in the succeeding years if the student obtains a general average of 1.0-1.3 or its equivalent and with no grade lower than 1.75 or its equivalent.

Half Tuition Scholarships

  • These are granted to incoming freshmen who graduated as Salutatorian and can be continued in the succeeding years if the student obtains a general average of 1.4-1.5 or its equivalent and with no grade lower than 1.75 or its equivalent.

20% Tuition Discounts

  • These are awarded to incoming freshmen students who belong to the top 20 of the graduating class. This scholarship is applicable for one (1) year only in college level.

Grants

Religious Congregation Grants

  • This is limited to four (4) religious sisters only with a tuition discount of 20% after passing the scholarship examination.

Grants for RVM Schools Graduates

  • The incoming freshmen can avail of the 15% tuition discount which can be continued in the succeeding semesters if the student maintains an average of 2.0 or its equivalent.

Grants for LC/Mother Ignacia Graduates

  • The incoming freshmen can avail of the 20% tuition discount which can be continued in the succeeding semesters if the student maintains an average of 2.0 or its equivalent.

Other Discounts

Family Discount

  • Siblings enrolled in LC may avail of a 5% tuition discount for each member of the family enrolled during the school year. In cases where there are four (4) siblings of the family enrolled, one member (the youngest) will enjoy full tuition free; the rest of the siblings will not be granted the 5% discount. Only one discount will be availed of by the student whichever is the highest.
  • A five percent (5%) discount will be given if payments will be made in full for tuition fee only.

Athletic Discount

  • Special discount is given to all students who are accepted as Varsity Players.  Interested applicants must have a two-week tryout and if accepted will then be recommended for the discount.  A varsity scholar is subject to terms and conditions stipulated in a contract.
