On July 29, 2016, the fourth year education students under Dr. Victoria N. Estroga conducted a seminar on how to handle special pupils. The event was held in Lourdes College.
Mr. Romeo Balandra II, the guest speaker, is a Special Education teacher at City Central School who had experienced teaching in the United States.
The aforementioned seminar was conducted to help the graduating students discern the different types of SPED children, principles, concepts, appropriate strategies and as well as the proper dealing with them.
After the seminar, the listeners were filled with essential ideas as to how to deal with special education students. In addition, these learnings will give them more awareness and will surely help them in the future as educators. (Princess Mae Zapanta – BSED Student)
